Fruit Cake (Dark) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. raisins or currants
    1/2 lb. dates
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 lb. candied citron
    1/4 lb. candied orange peel
    1/4 lb. pecans
    1/2 lb. English walnuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Chip fruit and nuts
    the
    size you desire.
    Sift flour, baking powder, cloves
    and
    cinnamon
    together.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs
    together;
    add
    flour mixture alternately with milk. Thoroughly work fruit and nut mixture into cake batter. Spoon batter into a tube pan.
    Bake in a slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour, then at 350\u00b0 for remainder of period about 2 hours.
