Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 onion, finely chopped (optional)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 beaten egg
    a little sugar (optional)
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs (cubes)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. either whole grain, cream-style or fresh, cooked corn
    1/2 c. buttered crumbs (either bread or cracker)
Preparation
    Cook pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons of butter 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add flour mixed with seasonings and stir until blended.
    Add milk and cook until thick.
    Brown bread in 1 tablespoon of butter and add with corn and egg.
    Turn into greased baking dish.
    Cover with crumbs.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
