Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
    4 to 6 sliced bananas
    2 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding, mixed according to directions
    maraschino cherries
    chopped nuts
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to package directions.
    Cool.
    Using a large punch bowl, break 1/2 of cake in
    pieces into bowl and layer with 1/2 of ingredients.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with Cool Whip, cherries and chopped nuts.
    Serves a large crowd.
