Baked Acorn Squash(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 whole squash (about 1 lb.)
2 tsp. margarine
2 tsp. brown sugar
2/3 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

With a fork or small paring knife, pierce squash in several places to its center. Place squash on paper towel or plate in microwave oven. Cook on full power 10 minutes or until squash is soft; turn squash over one time while cooking. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Place 1 teaspoon margarine and brown sugar in each half, spreading evenly. Place applesauce in each squash cavity and sprinkle cinnamon over all. Reheat 1 or 2 minutes, if desired. Makes 2 servings.
