Better Than Sex Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large yellow cake mix, baked in a 13 x 9-inch pan
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 c. whipping cream or Cool Whip
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. flaked toasted coconut
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook pineapple with sugar until thick and syrupy, about 20 minutes.
    When cake is done, remove from oven and pierce top with fork at 1-inch intervals.
    Pour on pineapple mixture and spread over cake evenly.
    Cool completely.
    Combine milk with pudding and blend until thick.
    Spread over cool cake. Beat whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Spread over cake.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Sprinkle with coconut before serving (optional).
