Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 bag chocolate chips
    1 bag caramels
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to directions on box.
    Pour one-third of the batter in a floured cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. While cake is baking, melt caramels with evaporated milk over low heat.
    When cake has baked for 15 minutes, remove from oven and pour melted caramel evenly over the cake.
    Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips over the caramel.
    Pour the remaining cake batter on top and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Test for doneness.
