Brandied Fruit Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained (15-1/4 oz.)
    1 can apricot halves, drained (17 oz.)
    1 can sliced peaches, drained (16 oz.)
    1 jar maraschino cherries, drained (10 oz.)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. brandy
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a non metal bowl. Cover, let stand at room temperature for 3 weeks. Stir once a week. Serve over ice cream or pound cake.
