Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (17 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    4 medium bananas
    1 large Cool Whip topping
Preparation
    Bake cake as instructed on package in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool. Cut into 1/3 and crumble 1/3 in the bottom of a punch bowl.
    Mix together strawberries and put 1/3 on cake.
    Put 1/3 of pineapple next.
    Put 1/3 (dry) vanilla pudding next.
    Put a layer of bananas. Repeat this procedure 2 more times.
    On top, spread Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts and cherries.
    May spread Cool Whip between layers, if you wish.
