Manhattan Cocktail Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 cup water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. catsup
    1 slice bread-crust removed & broken into crumbs
    1 small onion chopped finely
    1 clove garlic chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground oregano
    1 tsp. flour
    1 beef boullion cube
    1 cup water
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 jigger sweet Vermouth
    2 jiggers Bourbon
    1 dash bitters
Preparation
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Put meatballs in sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
    Put in chafing dish.
    Serve hot.
