Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box powdered sugar, sifted
3/4 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 c. water
1/4 c. butter
Preparation
-
Must use counter top electric mixer.
Mix first five ingredients on low speed until lumps are dissolved, then beat at highest speed while adding butter.
Mix until blended.
The longer the frosting is beaten, the lighter it will be.
You must have a strong mixer!
