Aunt Sarah'S Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water (in large pot)
    2 vegetable bouillon cubes or 4 rounded tsp. instant vegetable broth powder *
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1 or more large onions, chopped
    2 or 3 sticks celery, chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    3 or 4 cubed potatoes
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 1/2 c. frozen broccoli cuts
    2 cans tomatoes, cut up (1 small can and 1 large can)
    1 can pinto or white beans (for protein)
Preparation
    Continue cooking on low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Makes a large amount and will keep in refrigerator several days.
