Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can sauerkraut, drained thoroughly
    1 1/3 c. bean sprouts, drained (optional)
    2/3 c. chopped celery
    2/3 c. diced peppers (green and red)
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    3/4 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients thoroughly.
    Blend together the sugar, salad oil and vinegar.
    It is best when this mixture is heated and then left to cool.
    When cool, pour over sauerkraut mixture and let stand several days in refrigerator.
    This salad should be kept under refrigeration.
