Marinated Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage
1 large white or red onion
1 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
3/4 c. salad oil
Preparation
-
Boil vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed for 2 minutes.
Add salad oil and bring to boil again.
Pour over shredded cabbage and onions that have been sliced thin and layered.
Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
Next day turn mixture once and serve.
