Marjorie'S Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Add cocoa to water; stir and cool.
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add the cocoa water and vanilla.
    Sift cake flour and soda together; add alternately with sour milk, beating with each addition.
    Bake in greased and floured pan (9 x 13-inch) at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
