Big "A'S" Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. dark corn syrup (Karo)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
    dash of salt
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, beat the eggs slightly.
    Mix in the next 5 ingredients and beat lightly until you have a smooth blend.
    Stir in the pecans.
    Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of pie comes out clean.
    Cool at room temperature and serve slightly warm.
