Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
1 lb. raisins
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. mixed candied fruit
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift flour and measure; add soda, salt and spices and sift again.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, then applesauce. Add flour mixture, then add fruit and nuts.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Bake in 2 piece tube pan lined with wax paper.
