Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (2 Tbsp. juice reserved)
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In 9-inch round layer pan, blend 1/4 cup butter and brown sugar.
Place in oven for 5 minutes to soften.
Remove from oven; add pineapple and coconut.
Mix and spread in even layer over melted mixture in bottom of pan.
Set aside.
