North Meets South Chowder(Cold Weather Favorite) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. diced potato
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. finely chopped salt pork
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cans creamed corn
    1 can kernel corn
    1 qt. half and half
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    paprika
    salt and pepper to taste
    your favorite corn bread recipe
Preparation
    Bring to boil and cook until tender the potatoes.
    Drain water until 1-inch below potatoes.
    In frying pan, add oil and salt pork and cook until tender.
    Add all corn without liquid from kernel corn.
    Add pork and onions.
    Set aside 1/2 cup half and half; add rest to potatoes.
    To half cup, add flour and cornstarch.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add to potatoes; cover.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    Serve with sprinkle of paprika.
    Serve cornbread with, or for something different.
    Put corn bread in bowl, then add chowder.
