Souffle Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices bread, cubed
    8 slices Old English cheese
    1 to 2 c. ham or chicken, in bite size pieces
    1 can mushrooms, drained
    6 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    3 c. milk
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Place 8 slices cubed bread (remove crusts - optional) in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover bread with cheese.
    Cover cheese with meat.
    Add mushrooms over meat.
    Cover with 8 slices cubed bread.
