Danish Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. lard, butter or margarine
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1/2 cake yeast
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and shortening as pie crust.
    Scald milk and cool.
    Add yeast and dissolve thoroughly.
    Add eggs and combine two mixtures and let stand 2 hours.
    Roll out on sugared board and cut into 3-inch squares.
    Spread with pineapple preserves or apricot preserves and fold over corners to seal.
    Spread on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0.
