Twinkling Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3 to 4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    3 1/2 to 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Scald milk, then set aside to cool to a lukewarm temperature. Sprinkle yeast in lukewarm water.
    Let stand 5 to 10 minutes to dissolve.
