Barbecue Franks And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. hot dogs
    1/2 stick butter
    1 small onion, diced
    1/2 tsp. chili powder or to taste
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can water
    2 1/2 c. cooked white rice
Preparation
    Split hot dogs down the middle and cut into 1/2-inch pieces. In medium skillet, melt butter and add onion, chili powder and hot dogs; brown.
    Add tomato soup and water; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer to thicken.
    Pour over prepared rice to serve.
