Sausage And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk hot sausage
1 lb. mild bulk sausage
1 chopped onion
1 chopped bell pepper
2 to 3 stalks chopped celery
2 c. rice
1 pkg. dry Lipton chicken noodle soup
4 c. water
3/4 c. slivered almonds, divided
Preparation

Fry sausage; drain off fat.
Add vegetables.
Saute until tender.
While sausage and vegetables are cooking, add soup to 4 cups of water.
Heat to boil.
Add rice and cook until done. Combine with sausage mixture and add half of the almonds.
Pour into casserole dish and top with remainder of almonds.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
