Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 ears corn (3 c. kernels)
1 1/2 c. unsifted flour (all-purpose)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
oil for frying
Preparation

Remove kernels from corn.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, eggs, milk and corn.
Stir until flour is moistened.
Heat oil (1-inch deep) to 375\u00b0.
Drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil.
Fry a few at a time until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Makes approximately 36 fritters.
