French Steamed Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. olive oil
4 large potatoes, scrubbed hard or peeled
salt to taste
paprika (optional)
Preparation

Cut potatoes into long, thin strips as for French fries.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet. Add potatoes and stir to coat with oil.
Cover.
Cook until potatoes are well cooked, stirring often over medium heat. Add a little water if the potatoes seem too dry or begin to stick.
Season with salt.
Sprinkle with paprika to add color.
Stir again before serving.
Yields 4 servings.
