Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18.5 oz.) butter recipe cake mix
    1 (6 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
    1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Make cake as directed on package.
    I use a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool.
