Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain corn meal
1 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening or oil
Preparation

Mix the ingredients well.
Save enough shortening or oil to grease your skillet.
Pour mixture in skillet.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown.
