Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 Tbsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and cream of tartar.
    Let boil for 5 minutes, stirring to form firm ball. Remove from fire and pour over stiffly beaten egg whites (slowly).
    Continue boiling until mixture holds its shape. Drop on wax paper.
