Skillet Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. pared apple slices
1/2 c. walnuts
9 oz. white or yellow cake mix

Preparation

Mix oleo, brown sugar and cinnamon and spread in bottom of skillet.
Arrange apple slices on top.
Sprinkle with walnuts. Prepare cake mix as directed.
Pour into skillet over apples and cook over low heat 30 to 35 minutes, then invert.
