Shrimp Cocktail(African) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. dry red wine
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1 c. red pepper paste
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. ground cardamon
    1/8 tsp. ground coriander
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 medium onion
    1 small clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except paprika in a blender.
    Cover and blend on high speed until smooth, scraping sides of blender frequently.
    Heat paprika in a saucepan 1 minute.
    Add spice mixture gradually, stirring until smooth and hot, about 3 minutes. Cool.
    Mix 1 cup chili sauce and 2 or 3 drops of Tabasco sauce. Serve with chilled, cooked shrimp.
