Tostadas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    16 oz. can (2 c.) tomatoes, undrained, cut up
    8 oz. can (1 c.) tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    8 (8-inch) flour tortillas
    refried beans (see index)
    shredded lettuce
    1/4 c. oil
    chopped tomatoes
    classic guacamole (see index)
    salsa (see index)
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt and chili powder.
    Oregano leaves and cumin; mix well.
    Simmer 25 to 30 minutes stirring occasionally until thoroughly heated and flavors are well blended.
