Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken
    1/2 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. Miracle Whip
    1 c. sour cream
    8 oz. water chestnuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. chopped almonds (optional)
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can French fried onions
Preparation
    Cook and debone chicken.
    Combine next 10 ingredients and add chicken.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch baking pan; top with grated cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle 1 can French fried onions on top, then bake an additional 15 minutes.
