Corn Bread Taco Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1/2 c. water
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 pkg. corn muffin mix
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix beef, water and taco mix.
    Add corn, peppers and tomato sauce; mix well.
    Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Prepare corn muffin mix and add 1/2 can of onions to it.
    Spoon muffin mixture around outer edge of casserole.
    Bake uncovered at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Top with remaining onions and cheese and bake 2 or 3 minutes longer.
