Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    pastry shells
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well.
    Spoon 1 teaspoon filling into each pastry shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 17 minutes. Makes 2 dozen tarts.
