Spinach Madeline* - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. chopped spinach
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. vegetable liquid
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3/4 tsp. celery salt
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
salt to taste
6 oz. jalapeno cheese, diced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
red pepper to taste
Preparation

Prepare spinach.
Drain and save liquid.
Melt butter over heat in saucepan.
Add flour and blend.
Slowly add liquid, stirring constantly.
Cook until thick.
Add seasonings and cheese.
Mix until melted.
Blend with cooked spinach.
Place in casserole with buttered bread crumbs.
Even better next day. Makes 6 servings.
