Broccoli-Cheese Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli (about 1 lb.)
    1 whole egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. skim or 2% milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. margarine
    1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Separate broccoli and peel stems.
    Steam on top of stove over boiling water until barely tender-crisp (or in microwave according to manufacturer's directions).
    Put broccoli into sprayed baking dish.
    Mix egg, milk and spices and pour over broccoli.
    Dot with margarine or sprinkle with oil and top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or 6 minutes in microwave.
    I use frozen broccoli for convenience.
    This is very good, especially with a grain or pasta.
