Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine 2 1/2 cups sugar and whipping cream; mix well.
Add melted butter.
Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar in an iron skillet. Combine with other ingredients.
Stirring constantly, cook to soft ball stage (when a drop of icing in cold water turns to a soft ball).
