Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. black walnut flavoring
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream the butter and Crisco. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add flavoring and beat well.
Mix 1/4 cup flour with nuts.
Sift remaining flour with baking powder. Add alternately with milk. Fold in nuts.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
