Bruschetta Con Pomodori - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    1 lb. fresh plum tomatoes
    1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
    4 cloves chopped garlic
    1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
    1/4 c. fresh grated Parmesan cheese
    salt (optional)
    pepper, freshly ground
Preparation
    Cut bread in 1/4-inch slices on a diagonal; toast on oven rack at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes; flip at 5 minutes.
    Cut tomatoes in half and push seeds out with your thumb.
    Dice the tomatoes.
    Combine tomatoes with garlic and basil, then olive oil.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Put 1 tablespoon of mixture on toasted bread; sprinkle with cheese.
    Return to 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 30 seconds.
