Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. + 6 Tbsp. (level) cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    juice from cherries plus milk to make 3/4 c.
    4 eggs whites, beaten
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients (except egg whites).
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold egg whites into dough.
    Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
