Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion and egg.
    Firmly shape into 6 patties.
    Over medium heat, heat 10-inch skillet until very hot.
    Add patties; cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until browned.
    Pour off fat (with lean beef there is no fat).
    Stir remaining soup and water into skillet.
    Cover.
    Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally, if necessary.
