Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    2/3 c. vegetable shortening
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    5 large eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring or 1 tsp. vanilla
    few drops lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Grease and flour a tube pan.
    Cream the sugar, butter and shortening.
    Add one egg at a time, beating well.
    Combine milk and flavoring.
    Sift flour and baking powder; add alternately to sugar mixture with milk and coconut.
    Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
