Butter Pecan Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine pecans and margarine and toast in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Drain on paper towel and cool.
Melt cream cheese over low heat.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar gradually.
Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla and cooled pecans.
Pour into a buttered dish and chill before cutting into squares.
