Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 pkg. mini marshmallows
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, cocoa and salt in a large bowl; add to mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into oblong pan.
    Bake 35 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Spread marshmallows to cover cake.
    Put into oven and remove when marshmallows are melted.
