Baked Cavatelli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cavatelli macaroni
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. cream-style cottage cheese
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook macaroni according to package directions.
    Make sauce.
    Melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
    Gradually stir in milk.
    Bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; add Parmesan cheese and cavatelli.
    Make cheese layer.
    In bowl combine remaining ingredients in bottom of a 2-quart baking dish.
    Spoon 1/2 cavatelli mixture.
    Layer with cheese mixture.
    Spoon remaining cavatelli.
    Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
