Canned Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bushel fresh ripe tomatoes
    1 bunch fresh basil
    salt
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes by
    dipping in boiling water; then plunge into cold water.
    The
    skin
    will
    slip
    off.
    Fill
    jars very tight and full; leave
    1/2-inch
    space.
    Add 3 pieces of basil and 1 tablespoon salt
    to
    each
    quart of tomatoes.
    Close and process in water
    bath according to jar directions.
    I usually process 30 minutes.
