Feeding Herman - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. or more of starter you have saved
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. potato flakes
1 c. warm water
Preparation

Mix starter and sugar, potato flakes and water.
Let stand at room temperature 8 to 12 hours or all day . At this point, you use 1 cup to make bread or share it with a friend.
Refrigerate the rest of the mixture 3 to 5 days and make bread anytime by allowing 1 cup to reach room temperature.
You must always keep at least 1 cup of starter and it must be fed at least every 3 to 5 days.
