Chicken Continental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
    2 1/2 Tbsp. grated onion
    Salt and pepper
    Parsley flakes
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
Preparation
    Brown chicken pieces in 1/4 c. butter.
    Stir soup, seasonings and water into pan drippings.
    Cook and stir to boiling.
    Spread rice in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Pour all but 1/3 cup of the soup mixture over the rice.
    Stir to moisten.
    Top with chicken and remaining soup.
    Bake covered at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
