7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped green peppers
    1/4 c. sliced green onions
    2 c. chopped celery
    10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 slices crumbled crisp, cooked bacon
Preparation
    Before preparation, ingredients must be dry.
    Break lettuce into small pieces and put in large bowl or 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Layer with green peppers, onions, celery and peas (cooked to package directions).
    Cover peas with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar. Top with shredded cheese and bacon.
    Chill 8 to 12 hours.
