Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, peanut butter, sugars and salt.
    Add egg, milk and vanilla, mixing well.
    Shape dough into small balls; roll in granulated sugar.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Remove sheet from oven; place a Hershey Kiss on top, pressing down very slightly and bake additional 2 to 3 minutes.
